L'Era Paella Restaurant (Parcent)

Restaurant Review by Peter Wells 

This is a very Spanish restaurant specialising in Paella.

Located right in the centre of Parcent where parking can be a bit difficult.

Please note that unless you book (966 405 298) some weeks in advance you will not be able to just walk in, especially on Sunday lunchtimes when the place is bursting at the seams with Spanish families (along with the inevitable bustle and noise). 

The paellas are all cooked on open wood fires in the kitchen and the owners welcome you to oversee the cooking (if you can stand the heat & smoke). All tables are inside except a few on the terrace usually occupied by smokers. 

A fixed menu consisting of salad starter, mixed paella, wine, bread and sweet will cost you €12. Other dishes are available but everyone seems to go for the paella which is served on huge paella dishes placed in the centre of the table. 

This is no-smoking restaurant. 

Conclusion – A great atmosphere and dining experience, provided you like paella!
