Calpe Urbanization Map
Calpe town has a direct access off the N332 national road that runs along the coast. This leads passed Calpe town centre on the right then runs parallel to Arenal beach heading towards Calpe Rock ( the Peñon de Ifach) and the Salt Lake (Las Salinas). After Las Salinas it follows Levante Beach giving access to the Calpe coastal urbanizations and then heads off along the Benissa coastline before arriving at Moraira. The Calpe map shows Calpe urbanizations and Calpe town on the seaward side of the N332 with the large Maryvilla and La Canuta urbanizations on the Altea (west) side of Calpe and urbanizations such as Ortembach, Vallesa and Almendros on the Benissa coast (east) side of the town.
The railway station is opposite the N332 Calpe entrance and is marked Estación on the Calpe map with the road here continuing up the Olta mountain to the Cucarres and Oltamar Urbanizations with their fine sea views. The road here ends on the border of the Olta green zone at a picnic and camping area with an earth road and paths leading to the summit.
The Maryvilla urbanization is situated on Calpe's other hillside, the Sierra de Toix and has it's own access off the N332 and up from the Puerto Blanca sports harbour. At the Las Salinas roundabout there is a turning that takes you to Calpe harbour with it's famous fish restaurants and free sangria and another turning that leads to the foot of the Peñon de Ifach. A footpath here leads through a tunnel up to the summit of the Rock.
